Authorities have placed Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest ahead of the Eid Gah Chalo call announced by Hurriyat (M) to observe death anniversary of Mirwaiz Farooq.
A police official confirmed to that Mirwaiz had been placed under house while as restrictions Will be imposed in various parts of Srinagar.
Ahead Of Eid Gah Chalo Call By JRL .The adminstration has announced restrictions under CrPc 144 in downtown area of Srinagar tomorrow falling under police station:
1. Rainawari.
2. Nowhatta.
3. Khanyar
4. M. R. Gunj
5. Safakadal.
The authorities have ordered closure of all schools and colleges of Srinagar tomorrow on May 21.
The decision to close the said educational institutions has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the protest shutdown and march calls given by the separatists.
